Fittie (or Footdee, but nobody calls it that) was a fishing settlement by Aberdeen beach made up of fishermans' cottages, sheds for their fishing gear and a few larger houses for the skippers. It's now gentrified and quite arty and the residents pride themselves on the quirky decoration in their house and shed windows.
When we lived near Aberdeen, I wandered around there regularly - it's a great place for photography.
