March is an uplifting month. Early spring flowers are everywhere and evening daylight is back. There's real warmth in the sun and, this year, we even had some 'al fresco' dining in the garden. 
We haven't really had much of a winter this year and the weather continued to be unseasonably warm. So, it was really more spring than winter except on the very last day, when we woke up to a sprinkling of snow.
In the park, crocuses have come and gone but blossom and daffodils are everywhere.
I took this picture of the moss on the tree bark because of the textures highlighted by the late afternoon sun. The slug on the moss was a bonus.

There's lots of crocuses behind the old tram shelter on Pentland Terrace. I used a wide angle lens here to include both the crocuses and the houses in the terrace.

There are several memorials in the park of one kind of another. I liked both the message and the daffodils in the snow here.

The cherry blossom in the park is just coming out. The sprinkling of snow meant that the blossom buds had a light background, which I rather liked.
